Ford Transit Connect Mk 2 – Versatility for Both Trade and Show Vehicles

Due to its popularity, we’ve received numerous inquiries from owners of other van models, leading us to create additional kits like the Ford Transit Connect ABP suspension kit. This brings us to Jamie’s vehicle.

Jamie, a longtime car enthusiast and mobile detailer, needed a vehicle that could serve both his business and personal needs. After selling his show car, he wanted a single vehicle that could handle his day-to-day work while still maintaining a modified look. Given his profession, he spends most of his week driving between clients, and navigating different job sites was becoming a challenge with traditional setups.

Air suspension was the perfect solution. After detailed discussions, Jamie chose the ABP suspension kit paired with the Accuair E-level management system. The E-level system offers active load leveling and precision preset ride heights, making it ideal for a detailing vehicle with a water tank on board. As the weight of the vehicle can change daily, the system ensures the ride height remains perfectly dialed in, regardless of load conditions.

Jamie’s passion for car audio also played a big role in this project. To make his workday drives more enjoyable, he opted for a Hertz Mille Legend 3-way active setup. We installed custom A-pillars housing the mid-range and tweeters, which were expertly finished and trimmed in Genuine Alcantara for that luxury touch. The mid-bass was mounted in the OEM locations, and the entire system is powered by our go-to Audison FORZA range DSP amplifiers, providing exceptional sound quality in a compact footprint. With the addition of a DRC controller, Jamie can easily adjust audio settings and subwoofer levels on the go.

This project has transformed Jamie’s everyday business vehicle, blending functionality with his love for modification and car audio. Now, he enjoys the best of both worlds — performance during the week and style for the weekends.
